Vice City

Vice City

The beating heart of the map and the most detailed city Rockstar has ever built, Vice City sits within Vice-Dale County, itself modeled on Miami-Dade County. It remains America's capital of sun, glamour, and excess, just decades removed from its 1980s neon heyday — pastel Art Deco hotels and bright white sand in Ocean Beach, the bustling panaderías and street life of Little Cuba, the bootleg-brand chaos of the Tisha-Wocka flea market, and the cruise-ship-packed VC Port. Trailers and screenshots show an extensive network of canals, bays, and coastal waterways running through the city, suggesting boats will play a far more central traversal role than in any earlier GTA. A Vice City sign overlooks the skyline near the international airport, echoing the Vinewood sign from Los Santos, while a working tram, metro station, stadium, and amphitheater point to a city built for dense, varied activity well beyond its waterfront glamour.
