Content Policy
Last updated: June 30, 2026. This policy explains how we source, attribute, and present third-party media on Vice City Times.
Overview
Vice City Times publishes original editorial coverage of Grand Theft Auto VI and the Rockstar Games universe. Some articles and pages also include excerpts, quotes, embeds, screenshots, or references drawn from external sources — including YouTube, Reddit, social media, retailer listings, and official publisher materials.
We use third-party content to report news, provide commentary, and give proper context to our readers. This policy describes how we handle that material.
Original editorial content
Articles, guides, character summaries, and analysis written for this site are produced by Vice City Times contributors unless otherwise credited. We clearly label speculation, rumors, and unconfirmed information where relevant.
Excerpts and quotations
We may quote short excerpts from videos, posts, articles, or official announcements when reporting on them. Quotations are used for purposes of news reporting, commentary, criticism, or review. We aim to:
- Quote only what is necessary to illustrate the point
- Attribute the source where practical
- Link to the original material when a public URL exists
- Avoid presenting excerpts in a way that misrepresents the original context
YouTube and video sources
Some coverage references or embeds content from YouTube — including official Rockstar Games trailers, PlayStation channel uploads, and community videos. We do not claim ownership of video footage, audio, or thumbnails originating from YouTube.
Embedded players and linked videos remain subject to YouTube's Terms of Service and the rights of the respective uploaders. If you are a rights holder and believe a video reference on our site should be removed or corrected, please contact us (see below).
Reddit and social embeds
Select articles may include embedded Reddit posts or links to community discussions that are relevant to our reporting. Embeds are provided by Reddit's official embed tools and display content as hosted by Reddit. We do not control user-generated text or media within those embeds.
Inclusion of a community post does not mean we endorse every comment or opinion within the thread.
Official game assets
Screenshots, artwork, logos, and promotional images from Grand Theft Auto, Red Dead Redemption, and other Rockstar titles are the property of Rockstar Games and/or Take-Two Interactive. We use official assets on this fan site for identification, commentary, and non-commercial informational purposes.
Where Rockstar publishes high-resolution media for press or fan use, we prefer those official sources. Asset credits and trademarks remain with their respective owners.
Retailer and third-party listings
Articles about pre-orders, editions, and pricing may reference publicly available retailer listings (for example, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, or third-party shops). Product names, prices, and availability can change without notice and should be confirmed on the retailer's own site before purchase.
Images and media hosting
Images on this site may be served via Cloudinary or similar CDNs for performance. We do not claim ownership of third-party images we display for editorial purposes. Our Privacy Policy describes how technical data related to media delivery may be processed.
What we do not do
- We do not host full copies of copyrighted trailers or music for download
- We do not sell official game assets or pass them off as our own work
- We do not claim official affiliation with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive
- We do not publish leaked materials soliciting piracy or circumvention of DRM

We review good-faith requests promptly and will remove, amend, or add attribution as appropriate. For copyright complaints, include the information typically required by applicable notice-and-takedown procedures in your jurisdiction.
