Lucia Caminos

Lucia is one of the two protagonists of GTA VI and the first mandatory, fully voiced female lead in the mainline series' history. Raised in tough neighborhoods of Liberty City, she was taught to fight by her father almost as soon as she could walk, and life kept testing that toughness ever since. Fighting to protect her family landed her in Leonida Penitentiary, where she served time for an unspecified crime; she was assigned a correctional social worker named Stefanie during her incarceration. Released through what Rockstar describes only as "sheer luck," Lucia emerges determined to be smarter about her choices — not abandoning crime, but approaching it with calculation rather than desperation. More than anything, she wants the comfortable life her mother always dreamed of back in their Liberty City days, and she's decided to build that life herself rather than wait for it. Within the Lucia-and-Jason partnership, she is framed as the more level-headed, strategic half, weighing consequences where Jason tends to act on instinct. A life with Jason looks like her way out — assuming the two of them can survive what they're about to start.
