Jason Duval

Jason is the second playable protagonist, a small-time criminal working the Leonida Keys for local drug runners by the time the story begins. He grew up surrounded by grifters and con artists, then enlisted in the Army hoping to put his troubled teenage years behind him — a first for the series, as the first confirmed GTA protagonist with a military background. The discipline didn't stick the way he hoped, and he drifted back into the same world he tried to leave, currently living rent-free on a property owned by veteran drug runner Brian Heder in exchange for helping with local shakedowns. Jason wants an easy life, but one keeps eluding him. Meeting Lucia could be the best or the worst thing that's ever happened to him, and even he isn't sure which way it'll go. Their partnership becomes both his escape route and his deepest entanglement — a relationship built on mutual need, attraction, and the shared belief that one big score could finally change everything.
